AGED PU-ERH
Dark black tea is unique because the quality of taste get finer and smoother by its storage age. The color of leafs is very dark green almost Smokey black and the tea color is very rich burgundy color like the Bordeaux wine. Dark Black Tea has two sub-categories, aged Pu-Erh and Aged Black Tea.

Aged Pu-Erh is also known as "Antiek in Tea" In Chinese It is the tea that has extra fermentation by storage after the full fermentation, the taste gets smoother and finer by its age, and of course the price goes higher. It is a unique specialist from Yunnan, can also found in Guangdong.

The color for tea leafs itself is very dark and the color of tea is somewhat as rich as burgundy. It can be loose leaf or compressed in tea cake or brick. Aged Pu-erh used be classified in Black Tea but in recent years, it has became a separate unique classification.

Aged Pu-Erh is very good for the digestion. In many international scientific and medical studies confirmed regular drinking Pu-Erh tea can help to reduce calorie and cholesterol, so it is also known as "Medicine tea".

In the market sometimes it is sold as diet tea, which we would suggest you to consult with your physician before you take it as alternative medical drink.

Of course, like antiek, the quality of taste gets better and the price gets higher by its age. It is a collectable item for tea lovers.

-- Temperature: between 85 to 95
-- Infusion time: think of an old lady then you know why you should handle this tea with love and care. Make sure you wash the tea 2-3 times before enjoying the first cup. Infusion time from 45 seconds to 1 minute (no longer than 3 minutes if you would like to limit the caffeine)
